Halloween Bat Ornament by Keyshe54 Halloween Bat Ornament by Keyshe54
I made this little bat as a gift for my mother. She needed something to have as an ornament so she could find her car easy :3, or I should say so 'I' could :P.
He's made of black synthetic felt and cotton thread. This was made from a pattern by Gingermelon I bought over on Etsy. I followed the pattern closely but my mother like the idea of larger wings, so that was edited, and I made the scarf and skull ornament (white synthetic felt ) It's about three inches tall.

Super cute and fun to make, I recommend checking out Ginger's patters for sale here: www.etsy.com/shop/Gingermelon?ref=l2-shopheader-name)

Happy Halloween DA! :D

This is really adorable and looks well done. The necklace it has is a great touch. Was it hard to make it?

Thank you!
It was pretty easy, just the orange thread like to fight me a bit lol. I just breaded four color together like you do with a friendship bracelet and tired it of with notes, sewed them together around it's neck and frayed the ends.

Oh! I thought the skull looked really tiny, so I was not sure if making it was hard o.o

Oh yeah the small skull part! It wasn't too hard my hands are small so that helped- I just cute a small piece of white felt out in a proximate shape and sewed on the face with black thread-- just takes time and care hardiest part it threading the needle and making the knots to tie off the stitches.
