*Meztli: Nahuatl name meaning moon*
Meztli is more or less a companion/inspiration of an earlier piece named Coszcatl (Which is also a Nahuatl name). This is the first piece that I've posted on dA of this genre (Whimsy, moons, suns, celestial pieces). But over this past year I've been painting and drawing a lot of these. They've been a bit of a passion of mine, these and mermaids. I suppose I don't need to add, but I'm going to anyway, the scan doesn't do it any justice, and you can't see at all the shimmer in the paints I used.
Mediums:Lumiere metallic acrylics, inks, watercolors, mica H2Owatercolors, prismacolor pencils, on an acid-free, 140 LB. Cold Press Strathmore watercolor paper, treated with acid-free fixative.
An ACEO (Art Card, Editions and Originals) must measure 2.5 by 3.5 (or 3.5 by 2.5) inches. ATC (Artist Trading card) must measure 2.5 by 3.5 (or 3.5 by 2.5) inches, and is for trading only.
