More of my whimsical celestial pieces. This is my latest and one of the last ACEOs I did back in 2009, it's been awhile.
Also one of the few distinct male faced suns I'd done.
Not that fond of this one, I like the blue,green rainbow floor the back ground. But the moon and sun... they just don't seem right, maybe it's something off with the colors. Too much blue? Wrong shade? Though I like them individually more or less. Might just be the metallic sliver watercolor I used on the moon, I almost hate that stuff XD Can't quite get the hang of it.
Mediums: Inks, black India ink, and white, watercolors, mica H2O watercolors, metallic sliver watercolor, on an acid-free, 140 LB. Cold Press Strathmore watercolor paper.
