ACEO #171 (Sold)
This is the first mermaid I've posted, one of many that I will do so with later. I've been attempting to improve my art a lot lately by taking on more challenging subjects. The pose and the addition of the polar bear were very new and challenging, but I cleverly discovered with a large animal, you can take shortcuts! Doing the water effects were also tricky, but I think I semi pulled it off.
Mediums: Lumiere metallic acrylics, acrylics, inks, watercolors, mica H2O watercolors, prismacolor pencils, on an acid-free, 140 LB. Cold Press Strathmore watercolor paper, treated with an acid-free fixative.
An ACEO (Art Card, Editions and Originals) must measure 2.5 by 3.5 (or 3.5 by 2.5) inches. ATC (Artist Trading card) must measure 2.5 by 3.5 (or 3.5 by 2.5) inches, and is for trading only.
